Alpha Test Participants
Nineteen teachers across the country participated in a test of the ETE materials in 1995. More schools were added during the 1996-1997 school year, which now include over 50 teachers. The states with Exploring the Environment "test schools" are listed below.

Beta Test Participants
Twenty-three schools (grades 7-12) in 13 states and in Canada participated in Beta testing during the 1996-97 school year.

Schools Online Singapore
The ETE series was established as a mirror site to Schools Online Singapore.

Current Users
As of 1999, the ETE site has experienced over 12 million hits with over 600,000 unique users from 133 countries and all of the 50 American states as well as Washington, DC and Puerto Rico.
