Week 4: Coral Reefs
Weeks 4, 5, and 6 make up the first three-week cycle of the course. Currently, you are in Week A: Teacher as Problem Solver.

Individual:

  • Identifying private theories and knowledge about the Coral Reefs Scenario
  • Posting what you know about the event described in the scenario
  • Reading your teammates' postings and responding to at least one other teammate's ideas

Team:

  • Asking questions to show what is unknown about the coral reefs destruction event described in the scenario
  • Planning your team investigation so that you can divide responsibility for answering the questions your team asked about the event
  • Developing a team problem statement.
