4: Coral Reefs
Weeks 4, 5, and 6 make up the first three-week cycle
of the course. Currently, you are in Week A: Teacher as Problem
Solver.
This
week you should refer to the resources listed under Readings
& References, and you need to complete the assignments
listed under Assignments & Rubrics. This weeks assignments
focus on
Individual:
- Identifying
private theories and knowledge about the Coral Reefs
Scenario
- Posting
what you know about the event described in the scenario
- Reading
your teammates' postings and responding to at least
one other teammate's ideas
Team:
- Asking
questions to show what is unknown about the coral
reefs destruction event described in the scenario
- Planning
your team investigation so that you can divide responsibility
for answering the questions your team asked about
the event
- Developing
a team problem statement.
