Landsat Image Set
Included in this set are all seven bands of the Landsat Thematic Mapper (TM) image #5002067008621810 taken in 1986 (Designated "Brazil 1- band #"), band 2 from the Landsat TM image #4002067009224310 taken of the same area in 1992 (Designated "Brazil 2- 2"), several greatly enlarged sections of the band 2 images from both years, and a shuttle image of farms in northern California. The locations of these small sections in the large images are shown on the locator map in section B. Click on the following hot links to learn more about the Landsat Program or the Thematic Mapper detector. The data for the TM images are distributed by the EROS Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (EDC DAAC), located at the U.S. Geological Survey's EROS Data Center in Sioux Falls, SD.
