Combined with traditional forms of assessment, alternative assessment gives a more comprehensive and complete look at a student’s progress. Problem-Based Learning does not easily fit into the format of traditional assessment. By using different forms of alternative assessment, teachers can effectively evaluate their students. The following Web sites provide a more in-depth look at alternative assessment.
